MGC CLUBS AND ORGANIZATIONS
The procedure for forming new clubs may be obtained from the Office of Student & Public Affairs, Sanford Hall. For information about clubs listed, contact information for advisors may be accessed by clicking the advisor's name.
A.A.M.I (African American Male Initiative)
Advisor: Crystal Allen-Joyner
Purpose is to provide varying experiences that will promote success academically, professionally, and socially for African American males on campus.
Alpha Eta Rho International Aviation Fraternity (Eastman)
Advisor: Ronald Holloway
Organization provides liaison between aviation students and the aviation industry.
ANIME`
Advisor: Sharon Mozley-Standridge
Purpose is to promote knowledge and interest in Asian culture and popular culture through the use of art, music, Japanese animation (Anime), Japanese comics (Manga) and video gaming.
Baptist Collegiate Ministry

Organization's purpose is to promote the spiritual and religious life of students on the campus and to provide an opportunity for Christian fellowship and training in religious leadership.
Cheerleading

The cheerleaders promote school spirit for athletic events. Membership is by selection following tryouts.
Collegiate 4-H Club of Middle Georgia College

The purpose of the club is to further develop and utilize leadership and personal qualities; to be of service to our campus and our community; and to promote the objectives of the National Collegiate 4-H Organization.
Computer and Gaming Club

Fellowship of Christian Athletes

The purpose of this organization is to promote Christian principles through athletics.
Firearms Safety Club (Eastman)

Purpose is to encourage the safe and responsible ownership and use of firearms, to practice the necessary skills to be able to properly use firearms, and to provide a safe, fun environment for shooting.
Foreign Language Club

Purpose is the provide projects and activities appropriate for students of foreign language, students who are interested in intercultural issues, and international students on campus.
House of Grace

Purpose is to build community among students and facilitate their understanding of the purpose of life.
L.A.M.P. (Leadership, Achievement, & Mentoring Program)

LAMP members are peer mentors who volunteer to assist fellow students with academic and personal acclimation to MGC. Mentors commit to serving the campus and surrounding community through service projects.
Phi Theta Kappa

Phi Theta Kappa is an international honor society for students in two-year colleges. Membership is open to students who achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 and who then maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.25
Martial Arts Club

Purpose is to encourage, train skills through disciplinary exercises in martial arts. Members will have basic self-defense sessions.
MGC Aeronautics Club (Eastman)

Purpose is to engage students in the hobby of radio controlled model aeronautics.
MGC Book Club

Purpose is to encourage reading by reading and discussing books.
MGC Fashion Club

The Fashion Clubs promotes school spirit, self-awareness, creativity, and self-esteem through participation in fashion shows and other activities related to the display of current fashion trends.
MGC O.T.A. Students Organization

The purpose is to advance the profession of occupational therapy and to promote interest among members and non-members through activities on the campus and in the community.

Multicultural Alliance Club (Dublin)

This club provides recreational and cultural activities, encouragement toward academic achievement, and the development and utilization of the talents and skills to enrich the social lives of its members.
Muses

Outdoor Club

This club provides opportunities for interested students to participate in outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, etc.
Rotaract (Dublin)

The purpose of Rotaract is to stimulate acceptance of high ethical standards in all occupations, to develop leadership and responsible citizenship through service to the community, and to promote international understanding and peace.

S.P.A.G.E. (Student Professional Association of Professional Educators)

Student Activities Board

The Student Activities Board provides opportunities for students to become effective and productive leaders, as well as develop personal, professional and leadership skills through planning, implementing and evaluating a variety of activities for the students on the Cochran campus of Middle Georgia College. Membership is by election.
Student Art League

The purpose of this organization is to encourage art appreciation and provide outlets for artistic expression.
Student Government Association

This is the student government organization of the college. It serves as a forum for communication and recommendation with the administration. Membership is by election in the fall semester.
SWAY (Dance Club)

This Club provides opportunities for students to learn and perform a variety of dance techniques.
Theatre Club
Advisor: Robert McTyre
This club provides a performing venue for students to develop their ability to contribute to the creation of a theatre event (acting and non-acting roles) and provide theatrical events on campus for the enrichment of the members of the school community.
Wake Boarding Club (Eastman)

and learn about the sport.
Women in Aviation (Eastman)
Advisor: Lisa Henry
Purpose is to provide networking, education, mentoring, and scholarship opportunities for women and men who are striving for challenging and fulfilling careers in the aviation and aerospace industries.
INTRAMURAL SPORTS
Intramural sports are open to all students. Interested students should contact the Intramural Director at the Wellness Center.
STUDENT ACTIVITIES
The College provides a diverse program of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities for students. Most activities and programs are free to anyone with a valid MGC ID card. ID cards will be checked at the discretion of any College official or the MGC Police Department.
