 MIDDLE GEORGIA COLLEGE THEATRE TO PRESENT “ANNA IN THE TROPICS” (Cochran, GA) - Middle Georgia College will present Nilo Cruz's Pulitzer Prize-winning play "Anna in the Tropics" March 2-4 at 7:30 p.m. and March 5 at 2:30 p.m. at Russell Theatre at MGC's Cochran campus. "Anna in the Tropics" explores the trials and tribulations of a Latino family that owns a cigar factory in Tampa, Florida in 1929 while dealing with the beginning of the Great Depression. Admission to "Anna in the Tropics" is free for MGC students, faculty, and staff. Admission for the general public is $5.00, and $2.00 for senior citizens, children, and non-MGC students.
