MGC HOSTING EXHIBIT OF COMIC BOOK ARTIST SANFORD GREENE

(Cochran, GA) – Middle Georgia College is currently hosting an exhibit of comic book artist Sanford Greene at the Peacock Gallery in Russell Hall on the Cochran campus. Greene will be showing a miscellaneous collection of his work. His latest projects include a French graphic album for Humanoid Publishing and a Spiderman children’s book for Disney/Marvel Publishing. His upcoming works include a “Rotten Apple” miniseries at Dark Horse Comics and “1000” with MTV. Greene is also an Instructor in Illustration at Benedict College in Columbia, SC. The exhibit will be on display until November 5th. The MGC Student Art League and Humanities Division will host a Gallery Talk and Closing Reception in Peacock Gallery on Monday, November 5, at 6:00 p.m. Peacock Gallery is open Monday-Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
