![]() MGC HOLDS DINNER TO HONOR RECENTLY TENURED FACULTY (Cochran, GA) – Middle Georgia College recently held a dinner in honor of faculty members who were granted tenure Spring 2012. Faculty members who were tenured include Lisa Bro, Assistant Professor of English, LaVette Burnette, Associate Professor of Communication Studies, Gloria Huddleston, Assistant Professor of Biology, Scott Moe, Associate Professor of Health and Exercise Science and Head Men’s Basketball Coach, Sharon Mozley-Standridge, Associate Professor of Biology, Laurie Walters, Associate Professor of Psychology, and Adam Young, Associate Professor of English. The faculty was joined by MGC President Dr. Michael Stoy and the Interim Vice President of Academic Affairs Dr. Mary Lou Frank, as well as the MGC Division Chairs. Each faculty member was honored with an MGC folio. “My goal was to honor the accomplishments of these faculty and to encourage them to continue to grow as campus leaders,” said Dr. Frank. “Being tenured is a beginning of contributions at a new level. The dinner was to honor all they have accomplished as they enter a new stage of significance.” |
