Come join Dr. Brockway, the Georgia Aviation Campus Director, for a viewing of the 1983 movie, “The Right Stuff”, a drama based on Tom Wolfe's book about the beginning of the U.S. manned space program. Take a blast to the past, where the story begins with the breaking of the sound barrier by Chuck Yeager in October 1947 (65 years ago this month) and then moves on to NASA's selection of the seven Mercury astronauts. Thrilling, funny, and charming all at once! (Rated PG)
