Biography

Heather L. Hutton is a mixed media visual artist with a background in aircraft maintenance including restoration exhibits at the Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum. She funded her first year in aircraft maintenance school drawing and painting. Evolving from 2D to 3D/4D was a natural progression for Hutton due to her background working on large scale aircraft. Hutton encourages collaboration in her vision and has become successful in selling her ideas to the general public in exchange for support. Her work ranges from aircraft restoration; general aviation aircraft maintenance; commercial aviation sheetmetal and aircraft maintenance; teaching aviation and shop practices; to artistic endeavors that are often influenced by her aviation background. Thirsty for community and enlightenment Hutton continues to challenge the extent of her own creativity and share it with whoever is open to her commitments both in the aviation community and the artist world.
