Georgia:
I am in my eleventh year of teaching at Middle Georgia and have also
taught Mathematics as an Adjunct Professor at College of Coastal
Georgia. I have 29 years of experience in Surveying and Civil
Engineering. Prior to coming to Middle Georgia, I was co-owner of
Pruitt & Purcell, P.C. in Brunswick for approximately 11 years and
have previously been employed with the Federal Aviation
Administration, Georgia Power Company and Planners & Engineers
Collaborative. I am licensed as a Professional Engineer and a
Registered Land Surveyor in Georgia. Currently, I am working on my
Doctorate in Civil Engineering at Georgia Tech where I am obtaining
a minor in Geographical Information Systems (GIS). I am certified by
the Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission as a Trainer for
Levels IA, IB and II of the new GSWCC Sediment & Erosion Control
Program. I have recently served in various offices (including
President) of the Surveying and Mapping Society of Georgia (SAMSOG)
and have taught seminars in Technical Standards for Surveys and
Sediment & Erosion Control Courses.
