Aviation Maintenance Technology Certificate Program
Two Year Program of Study
Designed as a six semester program, the Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) certificate program prepares students for careers in aircraft maintenance and repair. The program philosophy stresses a combination of knowledge, skills, and practical experience in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations. Upon successful completion, a student will be prepared for Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) oral, practical, and written examinations. Once certificated by the FAA, a graduate is qualified to perform duties and responsibilities of an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) mechanic.
Graduates can find employment with airport fixed base operations, charter air services, regional or major airlines, the military, aviation suppliers, manufacturers, and the FAA. Program graduates will be competent in the fundamentals of aircraft electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems maintenance, application, and troubleshooting. Affordable local housing is available within walking distance to the campus.

Mini-Certificate Program in Airframe
The Airframe Mini Certificate program is a one year program that focuses on aircraft Airframe systems that will allow the student to test for their Federal Aviation Administration Airframe certificate. Program graduates may obtain employment within the aviation industry such as: Gulfstream, Timco, Robins Air Force Base, and Atlantic Southeastern Airlines.

The Powerplant Mini Certificate program is a one year program that focuses on aircraft Powerplant systems that will allow the student to test for their Federal Aviation Administration Powerplant certificate. Program graduates may obtain employment within the aviation industry such as: Gulfstream, Timco, Robins Air Force Base, and Atlantic Southeastern Airlines.
