Game Detail

For the second consecutive day MGC lost the first game of a doubleheader in 
the bottom of the seventh inning and roared back at the plate to take the 
second game easily.  West GA Tech took the early 2-0 lead in the 3rd but 
MGC responded with two in the fourth with a double by Keri Tompkins and a 
run scoring single by Jessica Cook and a sacrifice fly by Morgan Smith. 
Katie Turner took the loss. Susanna Stokes led the hitters with a 3-3 game 
at the plate. Jenna Hanson, Jessica Cook and Kayla Bawkin had two hits 
each. Warriors banged out 13 hits in the second game including two each by 
Hanon, Tompkins, Stokes, and Morgan Smith.  Alyssa Amerson pitched the win 
and gave up only one earned run.
