Bio:

Entering his third season with the Warriors as Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach, Darious “Coach D” Dennard is as excited as ever to begin the 2012-2013 season. As always, Darious is very grateful and feels blessed to have an opportunity to coach at this level, as well as learn more from Coach Moe. “The season we had last year was great, especially to reach the 20 win mark, but none of us as coaches are satisfied. This year we want to bring another title back to Middle Georgia.” Before coming to MGC, “Coach D” was a volunteer coach at Valdosta High School for two years under Coach Rufus McDuffie. “I give a lot of credit and thanks to Coach McDuffie for allowing me the opportunity to learn from someone who has five state championships.” While assisting the Wildcats, “Coach D” was also a student at Valdosta State University majoring in Health & Physical Education. He received his bachelor’s degree in May 2010. Darious is originally from Eastman, Georgia; where he attended Dodge County High School.
