Bio:

Chris Howell, from Fitzgerald, Georgia, enters his first season with the Warriors, serving as Pitching Coach and Recruiting Coordinator. Howell is a graduate of Tiftarea Academy in Tifton, Georgia. He signed a baseball scholarship to play at Pensacola Junior College for 2 season in Panhandle Conference. Howell graduated with Associate in Arts Degree from Pensacola. After Pensacola, Howell signed a Letter of Intent with the University of Tennessee playing 2 years in the SEC. Howell was a member of the 2005 Volunteers reaching the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 2006 from Tennessee. Signed a contract with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim pitching 2 years in the Minor League organization. After Professional baseball, Howell returned to Tiftarea Academy as Head Baseball coach. The Panthers won the 2009 AA State Championship during the 1st year as Head Coach. Howell coached the 2010 Panthers to the State Runner-up. He was awarded Coach of the Year by Georgia Dugout Club in 2009 and honored to the Good Works Team at Tennessee in 2005.
