The Graphic Design certificate is a technology heavy yet artistically principled program within the Humanities that introduces students to the wide field of digital arts and design. The program prepares students to leverage modern technology in graphic design, advertising and web design careers. The skills and content learned are also valuable for those preparing for the game or film industry.

This exciting and growing program not only hosts MGC's only "mac lab" with over 20 iMacs, but also boasts access to Adobe's Creative Suite 4 of industry standard applications. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Bridge, InDesign, Premiere, AfterEffects, Dreamweaver and Flash are all introduced to varying extents through the Graphic Design courses Graphic Design I, Graphic Design II, Computer Graphics I, Computer Graphics II, and Design for Web.
