Evaluating Transfer Credits
Once a student has been accepted and all official transcripts have been received from previously attended colleges or universities, the Registrar's Office does an evaluation of transferable credits. A copy of this evaluation is provided to the department of your major. This evaluation should be used when you first meet with your advising department prior to registration. Courses with a grade of C or better from other accredited colleges or universities will transfer provided the course content corresponds to the courses at Middle Georgia College.
Learning Support courses from out-of-state and private college do not transfer to Middle Georgia College.
Out-of-state Political Science and United States or American History does not satisfy the Georgia History and Constitution requirements.
If transferability of any particular course is questionable, it will be the responsibility of the student to provide a course description of said course to the Registrar's Office upon request.
