The Communications Division of the Middle Georgia College Police Department is a fairly new and developing asset for the department. The communications officers monitor police radio frequencies, dispatch emergency and non emergency calls and keep an activity log for patrol officers.
If you need to call the MGC Police Department to request assistance (emergency or non emergency), remember the following:
- Remain calm and speak clearly.
- Listen to and answer the communication officers questions.
- Stay on the line with the communication officer, do not hang up.
