![]() MGC COCHRAN CAMPUS CELEBRATES VALENTINE’S DAY Middle Georgia College recently celebrated Valentine's Day with a Love is in the Air event in the Student Center on the Cochran campus. The event was sponsored by the Student Activities Board. The event included a live DJ, photo balloons where students could get their pictures taken, and Valentine's treats, including cakes, cookies, and brownies. Techelle Peak, a freshman at the Cochran campus, said she thought it was a lovely event. "It was a very nice environment," she said. "The food was great, and I liked that anyone who wanted to could have their pictures taken."Lauren Gibbs, a student at the Cochran campus and a member of the Student Activity Board, said that the photo balloons were the most popular part of the event. "They were a big hit," she said. "There was a long line the whole time." Raffle prizes were also given out, with the biggest prize being a set of champagne glasses with heart shaped candles. Overall, the event was a success, said Gibbs. "It was a good turnout and a nice celebration," she said. |
