MULTICULTURAL ADVISING PROGRAM (MAP)

The Multicultural Advising Program (MAP) is a specialized unit within Multicultural Affairs, and it is designed to provide culturally relevant academic and retention advising in an environment sensitive to the needs of multicultural students. Mr. Kevin Johnson, multicultural adviser, works in conjunction with academic advisers, student success advisers, and other departments to provide multicultural students full academic service. MAP advises from a holistic perspective addressing personal, social, financial, developmental, cultural, and ethnic issues that may affect the academic performance and retention of multicultural students. MAP office is located in the lower level of Roberts Library (G-28).
