MGC CELEBRATES HOMECOMING 2012

(Cochran, GA) – Middle Georgia College recently celebrated its 2012 Homecoming on the Cochran campus with a variety of activities, including a Homecoming Parade, Bonfire Night, and Homecoming Dance.
The Homecoming Parade featured MGC and local dignitaries, as well as MGC student groups who participated with floats and other entries. The parade, which went through downtown Cochran, also featured the Bleckley County High School Band as well as the Dodge County High School Jr. ROTC. In the float contest, the MGC African American Male Initiative won 1st place, Regents Hall won 2nd place, and Aviation Hall won 3rd place. After the parade, students were treated to a Bonfire Night where they roasted marshmallows and made s’mores at NeSmith Field.
At the Homecoming Dance, Chris Wooten and Kenyetta Brittian were crowned Cochran campus Homecoming King and Queen. The Aviation campus King and Queen are Cliff Appleman and Reagan Stone, and the Dublin Campus King and Queen are Blake Clanton and Mandi Callaway. Form more photos
