![]() EMPLOYEE RECOGNITION AWARDS (Cochran, GA) – Middle Georgia College honored outstanding faculty and staff with Employee Recognition Awards during its Fall Kickoff on August 14. Dr. Crystal O’Leary-Davidson, the Humanities Division Chair and Associate Professor of English on the Cochran campus, won the Administrator Excellence Award. Student Success Advisor Deneice Bausley and Teresa Lorick, the Administrative Secretary for the Division of Social Sciences, Education, and HEXs, both from the Cochran campus, won the Staff Excellence Award. Josh Foskey, the Director of Student Financial Services, and Gloria Huddleston, Assistant Professor of Biology, both from the Cochran campus, won the Bright Idea Award. Anderson Ligon, an Associate Professor of Biology on the Cochran campus and the Head Women’s Basketball Coach, and Chad Dennis, the UAS Program Coordinator and AST instructor on the Eastman Aviation campus, won the Community Service Award. Paula Bryant, a Professor of Nursing on the Cochran campus, won the Outstanding Advisor Award. Instructor Alan Yauck from the Dublin campus received the Part-Time Teaching Excellence Award, and Edwynn Wallace, an Assistant Professor of Physics at the Cochran campus, won the Teaching Excellence Award. MGC President Dr. Mike Stoy received a special award for Leadership Excellence. Faculty and staff were nominated by their colleagues, and the winners were determined by the MGC Employee Recognition Committee. |
