![]() MIDDLE GEORGIA COLLEGE TO HOST WORLD IN CONFLICT JURIED ART EXHIBITION (Cochran, GA) – Middle Georgia College invites students, faculty, and community to an Awards Ceremony and Opening Reception for the MGC Art Department’s World in Conflict Juried Exhibition on April 2, 2012, at 6:00 p.m. in the Peacock Gallery in Russell Hall. The exhibition includes 10 artworks from artists Connie Redd of Macon, Ga., Dara Ryles of Cochran, Ga., Jessica Eanes of Barnesville Ga., Kristen Eanes of Warner Robins, Ga., and Terri Brown of Soperton, Ga. The artists were encouraged to consider many aspects of the World in Conflict theme, from their own personal perspective to the ways in which conflict has affected local, nation, and world events in the past and present. The exhibition is a part of the Big Read initiative, which sponsors community activities related to a work of literature.
