 MGC PRESENTS A “BUS RIDE WITH ROSA PARKS” PORTRAYED BY JOANNA MADDOX (Cochran, GA) – Performer Joanna Maddox recently visited Middle Georgia College to present a “Bus Ride with Rosa Parks,” a dramatic portrayal of Parks’ life and growing up in the segregated South. Maddox, a professional actress, singer, and storyteller, has appeared in several national television and radio commercials, as well as “The Tonight Show” with Jay Leno. She was also the National Association of Black Storytellers Feature Teller in 2006. The event was sponsored by the Cochran Campus in honor of Black History Month. |
