 MGC HONORS 1941 “WOLVERINES” CHAMPIONSHIP BASKETBALL TEAM (Cochran, GA) – The Middle Georgia College Alumni Association and the MGC Basketball Program honored the 1941 MGC “Wolverines” championship basketball team at a recent MGC basketball game. The 1941 MGC “Wolverines” won the Athletic Association of Georgia Colleges regular season and the tournament championships. MGC President Dr. Michael Stoy presented plaques to the three remaining members of the team, Mr. Curtis Beall, East Dublin, GA, Mr. Newell NeSmith, Cochran, GA, and Mr. Frank Christie, Panacea, FL. |
