Welcome

The Humanities Division is committed to uphold the mission of Middle Georgia College and to prepare students to succeed in the global community. The Division is committed to helping students to develop their analytical, critical, and speculative thinking skills. The Division encourages students to develop oral and written communication skills, to increase proficiency in technology, and to value creative self-expression. We also provide students curricular and extra-curricular opportunities to experience and to appreciate the Arts.

Our transfer programs include Art, Communications, English, Foreign Language, Liberal Arts, Instrumental Music, and General Studies. We have recently added a certificate program in Graphic Arts working with industry standard Adobe products in a cutting-edge Mac Lab. Please take a moment to view our programs, visit the faculty pages, or view the latest edition of our student literary journal, Muses.
